Breed History & Purpose
The Bernedoodle is a relatively modern breed, first developed in the early 2000s by intentionally crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. The goal was to combine the Bernese’s calm and affectionate personality with the Poodle’s intelligence and hypoallergenic coat. The result? A loving, low-to-non-shedding companion that’s perfect for families, individuals, and therapy work.

At Aussie Bernedoodle Homee, we take this one step further by also introducing the Australian Shepherd, known for its loyalty, agility, and brilliant mind.
